How Conversion works with Apollo
Conversion connects to Apollo through an Apollo Enrichment workflow step that looks up each contact by email and fills in person and company fields. You choose which Apollo fields to pull, such as job title, seniority, employee count, and funding stage, and which Conversion contact or company field each one fills. By default the step only fills empty fields, and an overwrite toggle lets Apollo replace existing values.
What you can do
Person and company data in one step
Map several Apollo fields in a single step, from job title and LinkedIn URL to company revenue, employee count, industry, and latest funding stage.
Gaps filled, trusted values kept
With overwrite off, Apollo only fills empty fields, so values your team or CRM owns stay put. Turn it on for fields where Apollo should be the source of truth.
Enrichment before it matters
Place the step early in a workflow so the emails, Slack alerts, HTTP requests, and branches that follow work from the most complete data available.
Standardize with Magic Enrich
Follow the step with Magic Enrich to classify or normalize what Apollo returns, such as turning raw job titles into standard personas.
