How Conversion works with Luma
Conversion connects to Luma with an API key and syncs each Luma event into a Conversion field event in real time. A webhook registered when you connect delivers registrations, status changes, and check-ins within moments, and a full reconciliation every six hours catches anything a notification missed. The sync runs one way, into Conversion, and a linked Salesforce campaign picks up every status it writes.

Any checked-in ticket moves the member to your attended status, and registrants who never checked in become no-shows six hours after the event ends.

Criteria triggers and audiences read campaign membership, so attendees, no-shows, and waitlisted guests each get the right next step.
Statuses in Salesforce
Link the field event to a Salesforce campaign and registrations, check-ins, and no-shows from Luma reach its campaign members, while changes made in Salesforce flow back.

How to connect Luma
- 1 Create an API key in Luma. A key covers one calendar or, on higher Luma tiers, a whole organization.
- 2 In Conversion, open Settings > Integrations, click Connect on Luma, and paste the key. Conversion validates it and registers a webhook with Luma.
- 3 Create a field event with a type that maps the registered, waitlisted, attended, and no-show meanings. The default types already do.
- 4 On the field event's Overview tab, click Connect on the event platform card and select the Luma event before it ends.
